UHMWPE Sand Slurry Discharging Pipe is a thermoplastic engineering plastic. It combines the  advantages of all plastics, wear resistance, chemical corrosion, self-lubrication, resistance to low temperature, safe, non-toxic and odorless, etc .It is the highest number of existing plastic values. With the development of plastic processing technology, the application field of UHMWPE will become wider and wider. 

Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene pipes have light weight, impact resistance, corrosion resistance, UV resistance, aging resistance, low friction coefficient, no toxicity, no pollution, no adhesion to foreign matter, absorption of shock and noise, and excellent performance. It is the best material to replace metal materials such as steel, copper and aluminum. It can effectively prevent the impact of hull and anti-shock plate, rubber fender and dock due to ultra-violet radiation and hull impact. Its impact strength is 20 times that of polyvinyl chloride, 10 times that of nylon 66, and 8 times that of polytetrafluoroethylene. It has wide applicability and can also be used as a ship anti-collision device. The reaction force is low, the surface pressure is small, and the energy absorption is reasonable; the constant shaking and pitching of the ship when berthing is strong; the installation and maintenance are convenient.

1. High Wear Resistant--4-6 times longer service life

Compare with existing plastic pipes,UHMWPE pipe has the most excellent wear resistance which is 4 to 7 times that of Q235 steel pipe and 2.7 times that of wear-resistant steel 16Mn. Therefore it increases pipe flow rate and improves the transmission efficiency of more than 20%. The working life of UHMWPE pipes is more than 3 times that of wear-resistant steel pipe. UHMWPE pipe has great advantages to replace traditional metal pipes in delivering abrasive media.

 

2. Impact Resistant

UHMWPE pipe is greatly impact resistant which is 5 times that of HDPE pipe, 2 times that of PC pipe and 10 times that of PTFE pipes.With extraordinary impact resistance,UHMWPE pipe can withstand great water hammer impact when starting up pump station.

 

3. Low Energy Consumption--20% fuel saving

Wear resistant UHMWPE pipe is self-lubrication and non-adhesive. Its coefficient of friction resistance is 0.009 while that of steel pipe is 0.013. With the same diameter, flow rate of UHMWPE pipe is larger than steel pipe, and with the same flow rate, UHMWPE pipe can save 25% energy.

 

4. Non-scaling

With roughness of 0.00022 and smooth pipe inner wall, it can efficiently avoid scaling without acid cleaning, which save a lot of maintenance cost.

 

5. High Flexibility

With high toughness and elongation of no less than 350%, the UHMWPE pipe and the connection site will not crack when crust settling which maximally ensure to supply water normally.
